Well, I don't know who had the bright idea of a full week back after Christmas break, but they obviously have never taught in a classroom or they would never wish that on anyone. :) The first four days were like a dream, but then reality hit on Friday. They lost their minds!!! Thank goodness next week is a four day week. That will help. Students and teachers alike were suffering from a lack of sleep and it was manifesting itself in ugly ways!
The week was fine really. It was good to be back in a routine. We started back to our small group on Wednesday and had fun seeing everyone again and catching up.
Now for OU...
How many times are they going to get to a big bowl game and choke? Especially the National Championship!!! I was not impressed and thought they deserved to lose if they were going to play like that. Each team had almost identical penalties and turnovers, but Florida managed to get in the endzone instead of getting on the one yard line twice and just admiring how nice it looked from the outside. Pitiful! I wanted to wear my OU shirt to school on Friday, but that didn't happen. I do like Tebo though. What a great example for Christianity.
Tonight we are going to listen to our friend Philip play a gig at a coffee shop and then we are going to go play shuffle board, darts, pool, etc. with the whole gang afterwards. Church tomorrow and then back to the grind on Monday!
